Has our world become a scarier place since last Christmas? A quick scan of any news site tells me that, yes, it absolutely has. Uncertainty and fear seem to plague us with every news cycle. At this time of year that uncertainty feels more burdensome. The Christmas story reminds us that we weren't created for this. God intended us to have peace on earth.

It is a quiet Sunday morning and thanks to the wonder of the Internet, I am sitting at my desk working on projects for next week and simultaneously watching a live church service in Havana, Cuba. 

I watch the video images of thousands pressing close to priests in white robes, embossed with beautiful red crosses, administering communion. Revolution Square appears to be full to overflowing and for very good reason. Pope Francis is seated on the platform and officiating the mass. It is an historic occasion.

All of America seems to be following this papal visit to Cuba.

On Saturday, July 18, the Voice of Prophecy lost one of its dear family members, as Eldyn Karr—who served as the ministry’s public relations director for 40 years until his retirement last December—passed to his rest.

Voice of Prophecy Dedicates New Headquarters in Loveland

The Voice of Prophecy ministry officially opened the doors at its new home in Loveland, Colorado, on April 9, following 86 years in California. This new location felt like a bit of a homecoming, since H.M.S. Richards—the ministry’s founder—spent his early years in Loveland.

After searching across America for a home for the ministry, our leadership team narrowed the short list to 11 cities, and Loveland quickly became the clear choice.
